Guarantee on Repairs

Timberland Supply proudly guarantees the quality and performance of all our repairs. We guarantee that for a period of 30 days after the completion of the repair, your equipment will operate as it should. If it doesn’t then simply return it to Timberland and if any of the parts that we used to repair your equipment have failed due to defects in materials and/or workmanship within that 30 day period, Timberland will replace or repair those parts at our discretion – free!    Timberland does not warranty products damaged through wear and tear, misuse, improper/bad fuel or neglect.


Lifetime Limited Engine Warranty

Lifetime Engine Warranty

Timberland Supply’s Lifetime Limited Engine Warranty is available for all new gas-powered equipment that we sell for residential and home-owner use. For as long as you own the equipment, named components of the engine will be covered. This coverage is over and above your manufacturer’s warranty.

Simply follow the factory operating guidelines and Timberland’s service and maintenance recommendations to keep your equipment in top running condition and your warranty valid.

AVAILABILITY
Available for purchase on all new gas-powered equipment bought from Timberland Supply Inc., for residential and homeowner use.

DURATION
Warranty is valid from equipment sale date during the customer’s lifetime or until the customer no longer owns the equipment.

COVERAGE
This is an inclusionary limited engine warranty which means only named components are covered. The warranty is limited to these listed parts:

Cylinder block, cylinder head(s), rotor housings and their internal parts, intake manifold, exhaust manifold(s), timing gears, timing chain(s) or belt(s), timing chain or belt tensioner(s) and timing chain or belt cover, valve cover(s), flywheel , ring gear, harmonic balancer, engine oil pump, vacuum pump, water pump, oil pan, engine mounts, and EGR valve.

Deductible:
There is $0 deductible for each covered repair.

NON-COVERED CONDITIONS:
The limited warranty does not apply to:

*Regular maintenance, tune-ups and general repairs.

*Equipment used for commercial, business or government purposes.

*Any damage or loss due to water, rust or contamination.

*Any expense incurred in connection with repairs performed without receipt of prior authorization from Timberland Supply Inc.

*Any failure of any seals and/or gaskets and the resulting failure caused.

*Any mechanical failure caused by sludge buildup, contaminants, foreign objects, improper amount or type of fluids including fuel, lubricants, coolants, or refrigerants, or lack of required maintenance.

*Any damage resulting from continued operation or caused by owner’s failure to take reasonable precautions to prevent further damage to the equipment when an apparent problem exists.

*Any resulting or subsequent damage to or from a non-covered part.

*The equipment if it has been modified or if it has any alterations to the powertrain or the exhaust system not approved by the manufacturer of the equipment.

*Any loss or expense due to failures caused by overheating.

OWNER’S REPONSIBILITIES

If the owner fails to maintain the equipment according to the requirements below, coverage under this Limited Warranty will be restricted or denied.

REQUIRED MAINTENANCE – It is the owner’s responsibility to maintain and service the equipment according to the service and maintenance schedule published by the manufacturer or as recommended by Timberland Supply Inc. This includes proper seasonal maintenance and a full service of the equipment performed by Timberland Supply Inc., at least once every two years. Owner must perform all scheduled maintenance as detailed by Timberland for this Limited Warranty to remain in effect. If owner fails to maintain the equipment according to the service and maintenance schedule published by Timberland and owner’s failure to maintain the equipment is a cause of the mechanical failure, the claim will be restricted or denied.

REQUIRED RECORD KEEPING – Owner should keep repair orders and maintenance receipts issued by Timberland. Each repair order should show the date of repair, the date, and a detailed listing of the services performed and parts replaced.

SELF-SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE – If owner performs their own maintenance services, owner must retain proof-of-purchase receipts. The receipts must clearly show the date the service was performed and the parts/lubricants replaced.

CONTINUED OPERATION – When a known problem exists with the equipment, it is the owner’s responsibility and owner must take all reasonable steps and use all reasonable means to protect the equipment from further damage resulting from continued operation.
